On May 23 the official Call of duty youtube channel released the first trailer for Call of duty: black ops 6 with the headline “The truth lies ” and its main theme the gulf war of 1991.

As the new Call of Duty Black Ops 6 makes its way into the game world, many people wonder if this will be another disappointment.

Since the last time Call of Duty released Modern Warfare 3, many critics were disappointed, calling it a “copy and paste” of warzone maps. Many critics gave it a rating of 50 and lower.

Now for black ops 6 coming out soon, many people are thrilled because the call of duty team have been working on this for years and black ops 6 is expected to continue with the tradition of deep, and engaging narratives.

The previous game Black Ops cold war set the bar high because of the storyline that was set during the cold war era.

Black ops 6 is set to be in the gulf war of 1991 as they gave out information of Saddam Hussein being involved in the game.

Many WP students are thrilled for this game as well. Adrian Ceballos stated “I’m very excited for this upcoming game, the trailer gave a lot of good hints, and it just looks like the game will be good.” Another student, Joshua stated, “I would hope the cod team tried to make this game better than MW3, it’s the last chance of redemption for call of duty”.

Black Ops 6 promises to be a thrilling game addition to the Call Of Duty franchise because of the set game play and technology that’s been added.

The creativity and game fun the creators have implemented into this game make the game worth the wait.
