    The Honor Roll Ceremony

    The Honor Roll Ceremony

Today Williamsburg prep hosted an Honor Roll Ceremony. WP rewards students who show good academic performance and discipline. To make the Honor roll, a student must earn at least an 80 in every class and earned at least a 85 average for the first quarter of the school year

On February 15, a ceremony was held after school from 5:30 to 7:30 pm to give the Honor Roll students their certificates.

One student that received Honor Roll was Sheina Ortega. She said, “when I first found out I got an honor roll I was actually surprised because, although my grades are high, it’s something I didn’t expect. Tt was so random and out of the blue I earned the Honor Roll by giving in quality work, asking for help and advice, as well as doing extra credit assignments, and overall doing more than what is required for my classes.”

She also mentioned some academic tips that got her to honor roll. She suggested to have a planner and plan out what your day is going to look like inside and outside of school.
