On Sunday October 22th, 2023 WP and surrounding communities are going to Coney Island for the annual Breast Cancer walk.

According to Ms. Kelly, WP is on its 10th Annual Breast Cancer walk. WP students and staff will walk about one mile in pink to show support in the fight against Breast Cancer.

WP will meet at the school at approximately 7:30 AM and will depart from the school at 7:45 AM.

The flyer states that participants will take the subway as a mode of transportation there and back. The walk will take place on 1904 Surf ave, Coney Island NY.

Students should expect to return to the school around 2:00 PM where they will be allowed to go home.

Students interested on going to the walk are required to fill out a permission slip which can be picked up in the main office.

The first 75 students to turn in donations of $20 or more will receive a pink WP shirt to show their support for ending Breast Cancer.

Students who raise the most money will receive a WP swag gift bag and two movie tickets.
